Roads Policing Review – Call for Evidence by Department for Transport, Home Office and Police Chiefs

The Department for Transport has issued (13 July 2020) a Call for Evidence to inform the Roads Policing Review that it is undertaking jointly with the Home Office and the National Police Chiefs’ Council. It is seeking views and evidence on a wide range of fundamental matters about the effectiveness of current operations how these should be changed or improved.

The full document is here: Call for Evidence.  It is part of a wider research and consultation process with publication of the report of the Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary, Fire & Rescue Services expected to follow shortly.
